Australian Journalist Insults Virat Kohli; Twitterati From India And Pak Are Not Cool With It!

When it comes to cricket, India and Pakistan have been rivals for ages but during this one incident, both the countries joined hands and tweeted against an Australian journalist who insulted the men in blue. Australian journalist Dennis Freedman posted a controversial tweet on social micro-blogging site just before the Independence Cup between World XI and Pakistan.

This is an old picture of Virat Kohli when the men in Blue were being a part of the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ at Eden Gardens. What the Australian Journalist tweeted did not go well with crickets fans from both countries. He posted this picture on Twitter and captioned it “Sweepers clean the stadium in readiness for the World XI match.”

The tweet was definitely in bad taste and got reactions from crickets fans only not from India but also from Pakistan. Twitterati criticized Dennis for his poor choice of words.

Even though Pakistani crickets fans are over joyed with the resumption of cricket in their country, they have expressed disappointment over the absence of Indian players from the World XI squad.

The first match of the Independence Cup was played in Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.
