Uber and Ola Go Off The Road And This Is How People On Twitter Are Reacting
Drunk people have sad news in store. Ola and Uber drivers are calling a strike. That means you have no excuse to be irresponsibly drunk.
There is a reason for the strike though. When Ola and Uber were setting up their operations in India, they were promised a monthly income of Rs. 1 lakh. The drivers, however, claim that they are getting only Rs. 30,000. They attribute this to the decrease in per kilometer fare due to which they aren’t able to repay their loans.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s transport hub today called a strike of drivers from both the aggregators hoping that it would solve the issue with payment.
When the news leaked out, users took to Twitter to spill their opinions and this is what they are saying.

Everyone’s running late to work today because Uber and Ola are on strike. Including me, I got delayed about two and a half hours, even though I drive my own car to work because I had to stop to dho my haath in behti Ganga on the way.
