Allahabad HC Acquits The Talwars; Who’s The Real Culprit Behind Aarushi-Hemraj Case?

The double murder of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar and domestic help, Hemraj is certainly one of the most infamous murders that have taken place in the country. The nation was taken by a shock when the CBI arrested Aarushi’s parents, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar for the murder of their own daughter and then trying to tamper with the evidence.

Aarushi’s body was found at her Noida based residence and Hemraj’s body was found two days later on the terrace. The method of killing was common as both of them had their throats slit. The CBI special court granted life imprisonment to Rajesh and Nupur Talwar on the basis of double murder and hiding the evidence.

The nation had always been divided on this matter as a majority of us believed that no parent can kill their own child and the Talwars were framed and not guilty. However, the new development in the case just makes it murkier as the court’s verdict that was long awaited by friends and family of the Talwars claims that the two are not guilty. The court has acquitted the Talwars on the benefit of doubt, as they were arrested on circumstantial evidence. The court has also allowed the appeal of the Talwars to question the verdict of the CBI court.

People took to Twitter to express their opinion on #TalwarsNotGuilty

If not the Talwars, then who killed Aarushi and Hemraj? Is the real killer still out there roaming free? The Talwars might get justice but what about Aarushi?
