Modi Fans Rejoice! A Temple Worth 30 Crores Will Be Built In His Honour
Apparently, a temple in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be built in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district. This temple is going to be worth Rs. 30 crore and will have a 100 feet high statue of Narendra Modi.
This temple is proposed to be built in the Sardhana area of Meerut. The ‘Bhumi Pujan’ and the stone laying ceremony for the same will take place on October 23rd and BJP chief Amit Shah is expected to attend the event.
The project was announced by JP Singh, a retired engineer from the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department. Singh said that it will take around two years to complete the Modi temple. When quizzed about this ambitious project, he had this to say-
“I like Prime Minister Modi’s policies since decades and because I was still on the job, I was unable to do anything for him.”
Here’s a fun fact, though. Narendra Modi already has a temple in his name, in Rajkot, Gujarat. When Modi came to know of that temple, he tweeted that he was ‘appalled’ and urged people to stay away from such gimmicks. Maybe someone needs to tell Mr. Singh this.
Sorry, JP Singh, someone beat you to worshipping Modi!
