Michael Phelps Is All Set To Race Against A Great White Shark With The Whole World Watching!
Olympic athletes are pretty much sexy gods. They’re dedicated, at the peak of their physical fitness and they are singular heroes for their entire country. Which is why Michael Phelps is so celebrated over in the US. He was splashed all over the media during the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. The world’s most decorated Olympian has technically retired, but he’s still in the news this time for something rather epic.
He’s going to race a great white shark.
If that doesn’t sound incredibly cool to you I can’t imagine what will.
As part of Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week programming, they have somehow gotten the world’s most famous Olympia to race the most dangerous sea predator. On television, for some reason. Shark Week was first aired in 1988 to improve knowledge about sharks and help with conservation efforts.
So, will you be tuning in to watch this epic match up? We sure will.
