Majestic Photos Of The Frozen Niagara Falls That Will Make You Rethink Your Idea Of Winter
The Niagara Falls are a pretty big deal. Because it’s one of the few tourist spots apart from the Statue Of Liberty that Indians can confidently name.
But something amazing has happened to the already stunning Niagara Falls. Something that happens to many Indians when temperatures go anywhere below 24 degrees. They froze.
Considering the temperature in the area has fallen to about -14 degrees Fahrenheit, the water and the flora surrounding it has crystallized into something straight out of a fairytale. This is, however, a result of the extreme cold that areas in the United States are experiencing, with weather forecasters predicting that even lower temperatures are set to hit the area.
But this is far from the first time the falls have frozen over. In fact, it has happened multiple times over the years.
Despite the cold, however, there are still multiple visitors who are braving the weather conditions to catch the glimpse of the natural phenomenon. And we’re glad they did, because they have some stunning photos to match and we are more than happy to view them from the comfort of our warm homes.
So will we be visiting anytime soon? Probably not lest we spend the entirety of our salaries on winter wear.
