1. Radhanagar beach, Havelock Island

As Asia’s best beach, you can’t expect Radhanagar to be anything less than breathtaking. It comes dangerously close to our definition of heaven with of its miles of pure white sand embraced by the infinite blue waters that rush to shore. The sight only gets better when the setting sun paints the skies in hues of golden!

2. Valley of Flowers National Park, Uttarakhand

Nestled up north, this valley boasts of endless enchanting meadows of alpine flowers, and is also home to some of our endangered furry friends. In springtime, this scenery, complete with mountains and little streams and colorful blossoms all around, is straight out of a postcard.

3. Chandra Taal, Himachal Pradesh

Chandra Tal Lake is also called the ‘Lake of the Moon’ because of its crescent shape, easily distinguishable from a distance. It lies in the midst of a cold desert, and the stark contrast in the scenery makes for a visual treat.

4. Kalpeni, Lakshadweep Islands

The island is home to one of the biggest lagoons in the Lakshadweep Islands and is rich in Coral life. Snorkeling, reef walking, kayaking, and sailing here should definitely be on your to-do list!

5. Hoggenakal Falls, Tamil Nadu

Known as the “Niagara falls of India”, Hoggenakal literally translates to ‘smoking rocks’ because of the mist created when the flowing water hits the rocks with immense force. While there, we suggest taking a ride on the Kauveri in a Coracle – a small round handmade bamboo boat that makes for one unique experience.

6. Nubra Valley, Ladakh

The journey to the far-flung Nubra, situated north of Leh, will satisfy any adventure junkie’s need for thrill. The valley, where the Nubra and Shyok rivers meet in the embrace of the glaciated, rugged Karakoram mountains is definitely something your friends will love (or hate) seeing on your Instagram feed.

7. Nohkalikai falls, Cherrapunji

Once you get over the gruesome story behind the name ( it involves cannibalism and suicide), you’ll start to see that a visit to the waterfall, the tallest in India, is well worth the trip.The sight of the majestic waterfall falling down a hundred feet into the blue pool below will blow your mind!

8. Yumthang Valley, Sikkim

Yumthang is located in North Sikkim, surrounded by towering snow-capped slopes that are perfect for skiing in winter and covered in a carpet of wildflowers in spring. With a scenery that changes with seasons, the valley makes for an enchanting sight all year round.
