5 People Who Could’ve Done Better Dubbing For Deadpool 2 (Hindi) Than Ranveer Singh
Deadpool 2 releases this May 18th. Mark your calendars people! ( I have, quite literally)
Those who will watch the film in the original dubbing, you are lucky. Those who are going to watch it in Hindi, sad news for you guys. You might not be that happy.
Because the Hindi version is butchered thanks to atrocious dialogue and delivery by Ranveer Singh. Here is the thing, Ranveer Singh’s personality does not go with Deadpool’s sarcasm and wit – the latter is too smart to be portrayed by just any top notch actor.
Don’t believe me, watch this trainwreck of the trailer for yourself.
THEY COMPLETELY CHANGED THE DIALOGUES WITH JOKES THAT WOULDN’T MAKE A THIRD GRADER LAUGH! (Do I sound angry? YOU ARE DAMN RIGHT I AM!)
Thanks to Singh, Deadpool completely loses his identity sounding more like an eejit than the wittiest character in MCU.
Here are all the possibilities that the Hindi dubbing could have gone for. These guys are sarcastic AF and their dialogue delivery could have portrayed Deadpool in a desi style, accurately!
#1. Irrfan Khan
Everyone knows Irrfan can play anything. He’d even make the cardboard sound more expressive. Plus, he has exceptional comic timing that is biting and witty. He would have ideally been the perfect guy to lend a voice to the dubbed version. It is their loss, frankly.
#2. Shah Rukh Khan
King Khan is known for his wit, the man has mastered the art of avoiding controversial questions with a sly remark. Somewhat Deadpoolish and since MCU is selling out with these dubbings, SRK is a bankable option.
#3. Biswa Kalyan Rath (Unpopular Opinion)
Biswa is known for his biting observations on real-life struggles. And he is somewhat of a nihilist, which fits into the whole Deadpool persona. Bonus: He is actually fluent in Hindi.
#4. Kanan Gill (Unpopular Opinion)
He is popular, he sounds great and he is definitely sarcastic and witty AF. What gives? Bad taste in casting?
#5. Abhishek Bachchan
He is savage when required. His delivery of the dialogues is atleast a much better choice.
Clearly, whoever cast RS for this voice role hasn’t seen the first one. What do you think of the Hindi trailer? Let us know in the comments below.
