Cartoon Characters From Our Childhood That We Oddly Found Attractive

Cartoons. Watching Tom and Jerry running around made us laugh and kept us glued to our screens for hours. Some cartoons, however, made us feel other things altogether. Yup, some of our favourite characters were downright sexy!

Here’s a little throwback!

1. Daphne Blake, Scooby Doo

Except getting captured a lot, Daphne, the popular girl of the Scooby Doo gang didn’t really contribute much to the show. She did have a keen fashion sense though.

2. Lion-O, ThunderCats

All of these cat-like humanoid aliens were smokin’ hot but Lion-O was really something else, even in that swimsuit thingy he wore.

3. Melodie Valentine, Josie and the Pussycats

Melody was the cute blonde who played the drums and spoke in a sing-song voice. An absent-minded bubbly character, her sex appeal was often used as a plot device.

4. Vegeta, Dragon Ball

You have to admit that Bad Boy Vegeta with his no f**ks given attitude and crazy determination to win is hot, even though he’s wearing spandex. He’s got just the right amount of compassion deep down inside and is ripped AF.

5. Samurai Jack, Samurai Jack

A lone samurai clad in white with his sword fighting evil. Need I say more?

6. Skeletor, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

The sarcastic, sociopathic, and inexplicably muscular Skeletor got stuff done. Now that’s sexy.

7. Miss Bellum, The Powerpuff Girls

With her red mess of curls, matching dress and shoes, shapely body, and throaty alluring voice, Ms Bellum sent many a childhood imagination running wild. Especially since her face was for the most part unseen. Though she was overly sexualized, she just happened to be the Mayor’s deputy and the “brains” of his operations.

8. Morticia Addams, The Addams Family

Aside from the amorous attention she received from her husband when she spoke foreign languages, Morticia Addams enjoyed art. She was a femme fatale with long flowing straight black hair who wore black gothic dresses that accentuated her slim figure and her pale skin.

9. Betty Rubble, The Flintstones

The blue dress and bow and that iconic giggle made Betty an absolute hottie.

After spending pretty much all of my teen years waiting for a Hogwarts letter that never came, I gave up and settled for being a wizard with words instead. A hopeless romantic, when I’m not penning down short stories, I’m busy imagining my own happily ever after.
