10 Times Bollywood Actors Showed That Twitter Is Not Everybody’s Cup Of Tea

The world today is majorly screened by social media. Good days or bad, in sickness or in health, our social media lives remain on priority. Every second of our lives, we are trying to stay connected with the world, through social media and micro-blogging sites like Twitter.

And the obsession is not restricted to just us, the celebrities too, have found out their publicity gimmick through social media accounts. They too are constantly trying to stay in touch with their fan base. However, not all of them know how to pull off social media stunts. Sometimes, they make mistakes, in fact, blunders and end up getting badly trolled.

Just like these 10 times when Bollywood celebrities should’ve thought for a little bit longer before pressing “Tweet”:

1. Hema Malini’s Tweet On Pratyusha Banerjee’s Suicide

Hema Malini was surely trying to keep everyone on social media off suicidal thoughts but her comment on Twitter went a little too far when she called suicide ‘senseless’ out in the open.

2. Anushka Sharma On Abdul Kalam’s Death

The actress had a similar moment to Alia Bhatt when she decided to tweet about Abdul Kalam’s death. Only that she didn’t know what the actual name of our ex-president is. An unpardonable offense, Anushka.

3. Uday Chopra Tweeting About God Knows What!

Well, we don’t even know why he would need a Twitter account. But clearly, the man isn’t able to impress us, on Twitter also. This is how he planned to wish the entire universe on New Year. And we were already convinced that it’s gonna be a bad year.

4. Paresh Rawal On Human Shield Incident In Kashmir

We completely agree with the right to expression, but what we didn’t like was this tweet coming straight out of Paresh Rawal’s twitter account.

5. Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s Tweet On Salman Khan’s Hit And Run Case

When it comes to Salman Khan’s hit and run case, there were polarities between his fans and logical humans. And then came Abhijeet commenting on the hit and run case, openly favoring the star and blaming people for sleeping on the roads.

6. Sidharth Malhotra’s Tweet During Ram Rahim’s Conviction

While the state of Punjab and Haryana was surging in fury with riots against Ram Rahim’s conviction, Sidharth Malhotra wanted the people to be safe enough to be able to watch his movie, A Gentleman.

7.  John Abraham’s Tweet On North Korea’s Nuclear Test

John Abraham ‘s tweet on North Korea’s nuclear test ended up becoming a very visible publicity affair for his movie.

8. Amitabh Bachchan’s Tweet On Mumbai Rains

We adore Mr. Bachchan for his tweets even if we get his picture free with one, but the man could have simply stayed mum when the city was struggling with  Mumbai rains and was highly trolled for it.

9. Rishi Kapoor’s Anti Pakistan Tweets

The Bobby actor just doesn’t keep himself off twitter and the usual tolling game. Before a match between Pakistan and India, the actor tweeted addressing the Pakistan cricket board.

And then he took things a little too far.

10. Karan Johar On Nepotism War With Kangana Ranaut

While Karan Johar had once again instigated the nepotism war against Kangana on IIFA awards, his ‘Dear’ tweets on Twitter just feel like oing back to school.

Well, how about getting better PR agents next time people?
