10 Pointless Awards That We Need To Start Giving!

This year at the Zee Cine Awards, Rajkummar Rao got the ‘Extraordinary Impact Award’. Nope, not the best actor for Newton (Varun Dhawan won it for Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya). Not the best supporting actor for Bareilly Ki Barfi (Anil Kapoor won it for Mubarakan). He won the award for Extraordinary Impact!

Now that Bollywood has even stopped trying to pass off award functions as anything serious, and are openly bullshitting, might as well add a few more awards to the list. After all, the more awards we have to give, the more stars who will turn up for the show!

So, without any further ado, let’s become bigger selloffs, and give out some more, rather unusual awards!

Best Lip-Job Award –

This one has to go to Ayesha Takia. Her transformation from girl next door to a budget Pamela Anderson must be a cautionary tale about how NOT to get botox done.

Best Pretty Face Who Can’t Act Award –

Jacqueline Fernandez would win this one hands down, for A Gentleman and Judwaa 2. Doctors at AIIMS have stated that we could lose her, if she tries to give more expressions.

Best Manicure Award –

This has to go to Tiger Shroff, for those beautiful hands in Munna Micheal. No wonder everyone in the movie wanted to grab them.

Best Shirt Tearing Scene Award –

This one has to go to Bhai for that amazing scene in Tiger Zinda Hai, in which he saves himself from toxic gases, by ripping apart his shirt, and hiding his face with it. Two purposes served in one go- one, Bhai got to show us his abs, and he saved himself from harmful radiations.

Most Villains Beaten By One Actor In A Film Award –

In another gender defying award win, Katrina Kaif should win this one hands down, for singe handedly killing half the population of Iraq in Tiger Zinda Hai.

Most Pointless Song Award –

This one has to go to Phurrrr- a Go-awful collaboration between Diplo and Pritam that no one asked for.

The Same Look In Every Film Award

Who else but Arjun Kapoor for this one! The man is a legend! His consistency in looking and acting the same in every film is commendable!

Are there any other awards you would like to be given?
