A Real Life ‘Toilet’; Brother Builds Toilet For His Sister As A Raksha Bandhan Gift
What do we all want for Raksha Bandhan? Chocolates, or some dress or some gifts we have been dying to get it? But this brother gave a gift that his sister will cherish for a lifetime. Let’s get real; there are several villages that do not have a simple toilet facility for their family! So this Raksha Bandhan, brothers in Uttar Pradesh are doing something unusual for their sisters and, strangely, it outdoes every other gift.
According to India.com, a man in Varanasi is building a two-pit toilet in his house for his sister as a Rakhi gift. Dilip, who is a resident of Phoolpur village in Varanasi wants to gift his sister with a toilet facility so that she doesn’t have to go out in the farms. This gift by Dilip to his sister Munni is an example of how we Indians can help eradicate the huge problem of open defecation in our country.
Apart from Munni, there are several other girls in the district who got toilets as a gift from their brothers this Rakshabandhan. This move is a part of the Swachhata Bandhan and Bhai No 1 campaigns that are launched by the district to motivate men to build toilets for their sisters, reports TOI.

Another person, Dilip, a machine operator at a private firm, said, “I arranged Rs 15,000 to construct the toilet. This amount is big for people like me, but I made up my mind to gift a toilet to my sister”
Hopefully, we will see more of such
