A Spanish Bullfighter Succumbed To Injuries After Being Attacked By A Bull
In a very tragic incident, Ivan Fandino, 36, was killed during a bull-running festival in Aire-sur-l’Adour in the southwest of France. He tripped off his cloak and the bull didn’t take long to attack him eventually leading to his death.
According to the people who were present at the venue, Ivan was using his cloak to lure the bull to charge when his feet got entangled in his cloak. He was unable to free himself and within no time the bull attacked him leaving a major impact on his lungs.
The crowd was left horrified when the bull stabbed Ivan in his lungs as he struggled to get up. He was rushed to the hospital in Mont de Marsan. His heart stopped functioning while he was in the ambulance and was declared dead by the doctors upon arriving at the hospital.
Ivan had been a bullfighter from the age of 14 and had made his debut in the year 2005.
His colleagues expressed shock and sorrow upon hearing this news as he was one of the finest bullfighters. The social media is also flooded with messages from people all across the globe expressing their dismay upon his sudden death.
The last Spanish bullfighter who died in the ring was Victor Barrio, who was killed at the age of 29 after being gored in the bullring in Teruel on July 9, 2016.
