Lonavla Will Soon Be An International Holiday Destination, Thanks To Maharashta Govt

If reports are to be believed, Maharashtra Government is planning on making Lonavla an international holiday destination. In a bid to attract more foreign tourists, state tourism minister, Jaykumar Rawal is formulating a plan to develop the city, and plan to make arrangements for basic infrastructure to make the tourists comfortable.

This is not all, Lonavla might even have its own airport soon!

Traditional places to visit in Lonavla, like Bhushi Dam, and Tungarli lake, will be cleaned and developed into international attractions. All six of the cities parks will be also be developed.

Under plans to develop Lonavla as a monsoon holiday destination, the Maharashtra Tourism Development Board (MTDC) is offering attractive packages to those visiting the hill station during the season. Not only this, travellers can also avail monsoon packages at Malshej, Chikhaldara, Bhandardara, and Panchgani.

All this is fine, what I am interested in knowing, is how will Maganlal Chikki be revamped?
