As India and Pakistan are celebrating 70 years of Independence this week. An Indian group of musicians has made a heart warming gesture by singing ‘Pak Sarzamin’

They describe the song as “a song about faith, pride, and grandeur, of power, progress and perfection.” They sing a Capella version of Pakistan’s National anthem. The Capella version emphasis on the stirring lyrics of the song.

The video has garnered 75,000 views. Pakistani media has also appreciated the gesture.

Writing about it, Pak newspaper Dawn said, “The surprise offering comes just days before Aug 14 and features the singers in a monochrome video. Free of any instruments, the song is quite a treat to listen to.”
