Twitter Is In Splits Over Indians Chanting ‘Vijay Mallya Chor Hai’ In Ind vs SA Match

Vijay Mallya was booed by Indians when he was entering the Oval arena to watch India’s crucial ICC Champions Trophy encounter against South Africa. The chief of Kingfisher Airlines has been living in self-imposed exile in Britain since last year and walked speedily past Indian fans outside the stadium.

Mallya is a major cricket fan and it’s one of the reasons why he owns Royal Challengers Banglore! In one of his recent tweets, he mentioned that he would be present in every India match for Champions Trophy. He also caused a lot of embarrassment for the Indian cricket team when he dropped in at Virat Kohli Foundation’s ‘Charity Dinner’.

Wearing a black trouser and a sky blue blazer, Mallya was entering through famous Sir Jack Hobbs Gate when a few Indians started shouting “Chor, Chor !”

One of them started filming his entry as another shouted: “Woh dekho chor jaa raha hain andar, Chor Chor “
