While Bollywood Is Busy Remixing 90’s Songs, This Guy Makes New Songs Old.

Bollywood has ruined our 90’s favorites, hasn’t it? By adding some lines of meaningless rap and useless EDM beats. They ruined every 90’s kids memory with the song too.

We’re not surprised that these songs always top the charts. It gives the movies a hype, we saw that in ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ with ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Humma Humma’ for ‘Ok Jaanu’, ‘Tamma Tamma’ for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and so on. The most recent one amongst them being “Jaanu Meri Jaan”. And we hope that this trend ends some day.

It’s not every day that you come across a piece of music that is actually mind blowing and you listen to it on loop all day. We came across a channel called ‘TRONICBOX’ on YouTube.

We were stunned at how amazing the songs of “this generation” sound with an 80’s tune. He has revamped Justin Beiber’s ‘Baby’, ‘What Do You Mean’ and ‘Love Yourself’. We loved it and so will you!

You’ll sing along like you did the first time you heard him go ‘Baby’.

His revamped version of Ariana Grande’s ‘Into You’ has become our favorite.

‘Sugar’  might just make you fall in love with the song again!

Tronicbox is Jerry Shen’s channel. He is a software engineer and also a composer. He had given an interview a year ago with Noisey. Where he spoke about what instrument he uses, and it is an interesting conversation about music.

Here’s what he said when they asked him what inspired him:

For almost every music video from the 80s that I’ve seen, there’s always something that makes me think: “You’ve got to be kidding…” You sure could get away with a lot of things that are bizarre. Plus there’s always something very distinct about 80s music. When you hear it you just know.
